Here we are at a race and someone pulls beside you with a srt-4 , now he at a stock mode is 14s,one thing I give them is there is no rice in that thing only a can of whop-a*s for all of us.We all have to spend alot of money to get down in the low 14s . when they are 14flat. I take my hats off to them, its about time they showed them that rice is food.

The only reason that I wrote this is because I am sick of hearing about the 4.7L of how fast it is , I will take any 4.7L with the same equipment as I got cu,headers,exhaust system, and 392/2 with 5speed and out run him,with my 95 318, stock factory said it had 220hp wrong 230hp,factory said it had 295ftlbs torque, wrong dino at 325ft stock.Stock I ran a 15.18 @90.89
and I had wheel hop bad.that is as fast as the R/Ts run if not faster when stock.

well- I agree with ya on the 4.7L thing, but since they don't make our 318 any more those folks gotta have something to brag about. Stock for stock, I'll take a 318 over the 4.7 any day. Matter of fact, I've put quite a few of them to shame.

yeah, don't lie to us or yourselves about your 318 putting a 4.7 to shame. Nothing worse than a lier with no proof. as for Joels ride, you did the dyno pull, lets see the sheet.

Yeah well i dont think daks are built the same way as an srt4 is...to prove a point! The srt4 is not produced on a large scale and i would not be surprised if this is the only year of production. If dodge wanted to make an srt dakota, i think it would be alot faster, along the lines of a syclone.

I couldnt find the dyno slip even if I wanted to because see if you would keep yor slip from 4 years ago I dont thanks so but I might beable to find my time slip from sac. race way were I ran 15.18 @ 90.89 1/4 mile stock.but then how would I get it to you all, with out a scaner, I'm but a poor man.Well I will be at Sacranmento race way on September 17 & 20th at the mopar race,bring on the 4.7l apples for apples and let us see for our selfs who is fastest. emono,emono

in regards to the srt-4 my buddy bought one when we got back from the gulf...and that car rocks after he bought i was convinced to sell my mustang and my truck to buy one ecept i need my truck and no one with any sense would buy a 6 banger mustang. and dodge is going to continue the production run of the srt-4 because the cars sold out already you would be lucky to see any on the showroom that was new. i wouldnt be surprised if the car became a new standerd for sport compact cars that and the new subaru dont get me wrong i am always about cubic inches but priced at under 20k that car is one of the fastest sport compac cars being produced. you really can not argue and the fact that there is already comming out with a lot of parts for perfomace.
that is just my 2 cents of the subject if u do not belive me just look it up and u will see next year there comming stock with traction lock for em too.. ooh yah to end this dodge will most likly be building a ram srt-10 with the viper motor hey just look up these cars if u want to know i know if u are reading this you have the internet do a little research.
