Message: Hi ya'll!
My names Chris and i just recently purchased a 2003 Dakota 5.9R/T. Its silver, standard cab, short bed.
Its a nice truck, its got the Chrome Wheels, and a factory tonneau cover. Pretty sweet truck.
I was wondering about hopping it up tho? I have heard that cat-back systems actually cause the 5.9's to lose power, while, a Cold Air Intake, TB's, and a set of headers, produce a pretty good gain in power.
Any truth to that?
Thanks! I hope ya'll can point me in the right direction.
Chris

Message: Increasing flow and reducing back pressure in the exhaust system will not decrease power in your truck. Exhaust, intake manifold, programmer, chip, supercharger...etc..
