Subject: Which Autolites for a 5.2? IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1999 5.2 4x4. I'll be installing a Gibson cat back system and K&N Air Intake system as soon as they arrive next week and I thought I might as well put some better plugs in. Seems like the plug of choice from all the boards is the Autolites but no ones' mentioned which ones exactly. Platnum, double platnum, copper, glow? Plug numbers and suggestions would be great. Thanks !!!

Message: I bought a set of Bosch Supers at pep boys and have been pretty happy with them. I used the autolites and didn't really gain anything except a smoother idle and easier start. as far as power as gas go, nothing except for a loss of throttle response.
