I have an old and very very slow 3.9l v6 (1987) dakota...... Where Can I get a good V8 with out breaking the bank??? (Work only part time for an hour) What will I need to either incredibly supe up my v6 cheaply or scrap it for a 5.2 or 5.9 because I really like my Dakota. I do all work myself and I just completly changed the entire interior out and I am now looking to end my trucks poor performance rep, where should I get the tranny and engine so it won't cost me an arm and a leg????? Please help. Thank You.
