Here's the deal for y'all that don't know...on a small percentage of the 4.7's if you swap out the stock tb for an aftermarket tb this results in a terrible pedal vibration. There have been all sorts of theories as to why but no solutions, I think there is a general consensus though it has something to do with the intake design. Anyways, after much research it appears that even a smaller percentage of stock 4.7's have a slight pedal vibe. In my case, after I installed the h.o. cams I noticed it very slightly, then once I installed the fastman tb it was quite excessive. Since then I have returned the tb but miss the lossed performance. Anyways, it appears now that all the 4.7's come with the ho intake, my theory is that b/c many owners were complaining about the vibe DC figured out that the ho intake took care of this problem. Initially I did not want to install the ho intake as I would rather improve low end torque b/c my top end is already superb, however, if the intake would take care of the vibe and allow me to bolton a higher performance tb I may consider it. Does anyone agree or take issue with my assessment?

It would sound good, except I put the H.O. cams and intake in first, no vibrations, then I put the Fastman 68mm tb in, shook like crazy, I almost returned it for the stock one. I also don't have an aftermarket air intake, so, I can't explain what it is, but after about 3,000 miles on the tb, all but a tiny bit of vibration is gone, so I stuck it out and it got better. I did call Dan, and asked about it, and he thought it was caused by pulling the stock air intake, but I am still stock, so who knows? But I am VERY happy with the gains. And I can live with a tiny bit of vibration, but it did shake like crazy at first.

well, there goes that theory. I too had the fastman and the vibration reduced some but was still there. I had it on for almost a 1,000 miles. Did it keep subsiding after the first 1,000 or did yours subside up to around that number and now it is still the same? If that is not clear about how long did it take to get to where it is at now?

Yeah, after about a week it started getting better slowly, and it just kept getting better. I was driving my truck bare foot last night and I could notice the vibrations more, but it still was WAY better than at first.
