I was just wondering has anyone heard stuff about the 2003 R/T. Are they good having problems should I even buy one. I have a 1998 right now and I was thinking about trading it in for a 2003. Thanks for your time and responses.

is your 98 an R/T?...unless you like interior gadgets, the only other difference is the PCM...i think...

'03 have Chrome wheels (option), rear discs, 3 CATs-- so forget gettting smog legal headers other than shorties, No under hood lamp, nor under hood insulation pad.
No pcm mods yet either...

Yes my 1998 is an R/T. Hope this doesnt sound dumb but what is the smog deal? I was seeing it when I was looking at headers for my 98 R/T. Thanks for your opinions.

They are discontinued so you better find one on a lot while you can and yes they are great as I own one.

I found one on a lot it is blue, cc, for $22,500. Thats why I was thinking about buying it cause I think that it pretty cheap for a brand new one.

I have one only got 3300 mls on now and I love it. Yea 4 wheel disc and rear abs Which is great if you have ever had one without you know what its like in the rain. I am not sure if all R/T came with posi trac but it handels like a vet. by the way thats a good price if you got alot of the options not to mention the low apr% right now GET IT WHILE YOU CAN.

Well the 2003 is loaded except leather seats. Power windows, mirrors, heated mirrors, that overhead display on the headliner, power locks, the 17in chrome wheels, tonneau cover, the works. I thought it was a good deal seeing as how the sticker price in the window said $27,600 with all the options it had. Thanks for the responses. But is it going to be quicker than my 1998 R/T.

why would they? they never advertised them as being fast.
kinda like why do people think a McSalad is good for you but it has more fat than a BigMac..
