Lower internal engine friction thus lower temps.
MUCH less "goop" buildup in the oil-fill tube
Easier cold-weather starting.
No fear letting oil go for the factory-recommended 7500 mile change intervals.
No "special" procedure
Just drain the oil and pour it in with a new filter installed.
