I AM HAVING A PROBLEM FINDING A HIGH PERFORMANCE REPLACEMENT TIRE FOR MY 03 R/T,THE ONLY ONES IVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND ARE A KUHMO ECSTA711 AND A BFGOODRICH SCORCHER,I WANT TO KEEP SAME STOCK SIZE,CAN ANYONE HELP????????

hmm.... i know you want stock size, but the 275/50/17 nittos look good, same height, better tread pattern, and only 130 a piece, including shipping... ill be putting nittos on till i get rid of the truck.

nitto's,khumo's are popular.
i had the dunlops...they suck.
i like the rsa's til they get 10,000 miles on them.

I won the Auto-X in Tucson '02 (RT meet #3) with those tires... Must be the driver ;^)

The Dunlops are a great street tire, non performance, high mileage/long wear tire. If you want a long lasting tire, and aren't into racing/fast starts-- they are good.
Otherwise, the Kumhos711s are a steal pricewise-- and you could go through 2 sets of them for about the price of 1 set of the the other brands.
I am on Scorchers now (so far so good)-- much better traction than the Dunlops-- a little better than the RSAs (I've run 4 sets of RSAs over 3 trucks, and 1 set of Dunlops).
I got the 'blue stripe' scorcher-- would have rather got the all black version-- but these were nearly free, so I couldn't pass it up.
Next tire will be Kumho711s here.

I just put some Goodyear Eagle GT II's on. I like white raised letter tires and these are the only ones I could find. Had to go with 255-60-17. They look kick ass.
