I am going. I just don't know when I will be leaving. I would love to do a caravan to the track. I will probably be going Friday to the Show and Shine and Saturday to the Drags. E-mail me off list and we will see what we can do.

I'll be at the mopar nationals in columbus. It's to bad you made it for the same weekend. I checked into racing at the r/t national but 1 problem its not an r/t. so they won't let me race. It made the columbus choice alot easier. I understand you all have r/t's but how many of them are still r/t's. The only difference was 5.9 suspension, flares, 17 inch rims. How many of them are still that way? Blowers, custom rims, hotchkins, 408...etc but have fun

Well-- I think this has been hashed back and forth-- The RT club still wants to keep it solely a RT meet-- Kinda like having a Ford Lightning meet, and having people with F-150s show up and want to play at a Lightning meet (no matter how the F-150s are modded, fast they run, etc.)
The push to include other Dakota owners in the '04 meet is underway-- most likely for fun runs at the track--
ANY Dakota can at least attend the National meet and hang out (and a lot do)--- You just can't race (I know it sucks-- hopefully things will change in '04)-- or participate in the carshow/auotx stuff.
But there's a lot more to the event that just those things. Believe me! Otherwise, I wouldn't be flying out without a vehicle.

lew360 werent you in md,i need to register thursday between 6&9pm,if you dont i could always use a rider,if you arent going till friday i would like to get there around 9am when the carwash starts so i can speedshine my truck,hangout etc. this is my first event so i would like to see as much as possible.LOOK i didnt know how to get your email address thru this forum,sorry about that email me at oreillyjr@aol.com so we can talk more in depth.probly just give you the house# be a hell of alot easier

Probably never--- It was in Tucson, AZ last year (June 02)---
Texas in '04-- somewhere.
The Truckin Nationals (5th annual) will be at Firebird Raceway in Phx/Chandler Oct 11-12th... 35 RTs showed up for the drag racing last year (I won my class ;) -- I've gone every year, and will be there again this year.
All Dakotas/Rams welcome-- come race and beat the fords!

I wish I could go to the Mopar Nats. I'm in the same boat as litlpunisher, no R/t Nats for my SLT. Sept 14th is the Mopar Show @ Moroso, I can race there.
