Just curious does any one besides me have a 2001 or 2 graphite RC R/T. I have seen a few regular dakotas that are graphite but I have yet to see any Dakota R/t in this color other than one that I found looking on the internet. Does anyone know how many they made. I love this color I get asked about my truck all the time at gas stations and at the mall. thanks seeya

I think it was only available for the last 2 months of production in 2001 (and of course is still available in 2002). How many RC R/T's they made the last 2 months is hard to say but based on past numbers I'd say 1500 RC, R/T's per year, so it's safe to say 1/6th of them are made in the last 2 months or 250 trucks. Then with 6 colors available with a heavy slant toward red and black and I'd say may have been probably more then 15 but less then 50. Of course my assumption of 1500 RC R/T's per year may be way off now (there were 2171 built for sure in 1999 but that was after winning sport truck of the year and still very young in its design). The 2001 atlantic blue may be even scarcer as I don't think people like the color as much as the graphite and they both came out at the same time.

When I was in my search for an R/T I came across 2 graphite R/T's but they were CC. I got the Atlantic Blue model and I didn't even know they made that color but that was the only one in that color at the 4 dodge places in dallas I went to. I've lost count of how many people have told me what an awesome color it was. Black and red seemed too typical for me...wanted something different. I was gonna get the graphite cuz it is a sweet color but it cost too much at the place I saw it, graphite would've been my 1st choice.

I just bought a 02 CC Sport 4x4 (4.7) in Jan. The color, Atlantic Blue. It's awesome, keep in mind, the dealership only had red, too common, purple, not my bag, and Graphite, which was a QC and more $. All my buddies love this color and the truck. Color wasn't a big deal for me, just this truck had everything I was looking for. Graphite may stay cleaner longer when the roads are dirty as compared to the Atlantic Blue.

There is a new 01 Graphite R/T for sale at Ira Dodge in Lowell, MA. 978-454-1400. I just bought my 02 Sport+ 4.7 there and the R/T was on the showroom floor.

My CC graphite R/T was built in June of 2001, so my guess is there are a few RC out there as well. RC are generally less common than CC anyway.

BTW, tires and wheels are for sale. Forged APP racing wheels 19x8.5 with Dunlop SP9000 tires. About 5K miles on the tires. Wheels sell for $970 EACH new(though I paid a ton less). Looking for $1500 for the set. I'm changing to polished 20's.

You found ME! I just got my '02 RC Graphite R/T about a month ago. I dont have any pictures uploaded yet but if you would like to see just let me know when i do get them. So far I have taken out the third cat, put a Flowmaster 40 muffler on, Mopar Performance PCM, and am waiting to break the motor in more for my 14lbs Vortech. OH OH OH OH OH!

well lets see, seeing a dakota r/t isnt a very usually sight in the first place, but around here i have seen zero black, zero atlantic blue (even though i know of two within 20 miles of dallas) and all the rest were red and a few yellows. I own a black RC, i couldnt find another Rc when i was looking, and all the ones i saw were red. I'd say graphite is the rarest color. Just a question, what color are your stickers???

Good to hear there are other Graphite RC R/Ts. Since I made my first post here I did see a 2002 Graphite r/t, it had the chrome R/t rims. But I have still not seen a RC. I also have put a 40 series FM on mine and love it. I graduate from college in Dec. and thats when the mods come!! take care all

I have a couple pictures of me doing a smokie in a parking lot....email me if you wanna check em out, unfortunatly i dont have any pictures of the motor yet. But i did change my mind and scaled down to the 8lbs Procharger. Intercooler was a bIAtch to install but DAMN i love it now!

haha got you all beat, i have a 2003 graphite cc r/t.lol.yea its def the rarest color, and so is atlantic blue.later and do any of you live in florida???i hardly see any in the ft lauderdale area.

got a 2002 cc graphite r/t. bought her this past july. there was also a black one next to her on the showroom floor, but i had a 93 dakota LE that was silver, so the graphite color reminded me of her. so i had to get the graphite one. later i found out that this color is definitely rare for the r/t's. i live in the atlanta area, so the few others i've seen were mostly red or black. i've had someone at a gas station recently walk up and comment on my truck and what "really good color" it has. the other day i parked her in front of a hardware/auto parts store a good friend of mine owns, and 2 guys in a semi-lowered chubby silverado nearly break their necks from turning their heads to get a good look at her. love my r/t!!!!!!!!!
