Hi guys im going to put a set of true duals on my 91 Dakota and was wondering what size pipe would be the best to use so i dont lose much low end but can gain some in the high end. I plan on putting full length headers no cats and posibly 40 series flowmasters. but im still not real sure on the muffler because of its loudness. Im currently have 2.5" single and was thinking of doing 2.5" dauls

Need more info. What's the engine? If you have a 5.2, then you want 2.25 duals. You will lose a little low end but it will be worth it.

I've got true duals on my 89 Shelby Dakota. 2 1/2" pipe twin cats and Walker Turbo mufflers, stock manifolds. I didn't notice any low end loss, but picked up what felt like 20 plus hp. What headers are you using?

Im using hooker super comp full length headers. Sorry it is the 5.2L I have done some things to improve the intake system on it. It is the TBI system like the shelby dakotas have in them. I have a ported and polished 5.9L TB with a K&N drop in filter and the plastic baffle removed from the intake tube next to the radiator. I hope to have it all done in the next three to four months. Im waiting for a friend of mine to do his engine swap in his pro stock eliminator truck (runs 11.82@108mph) thanks for the ideas and keep them coming
