You can loose torque if you put an exhaust that is too free flowing. Have you ever noticed when you have an older car with an exhaust that is completely rotten that the car runs poorly, with a noticeable loss in power? So you bring it to a shop to have just the exhaust repaired and what do you know, the car runs good again and the power is restored. Now why is this? You seem to know so much about cars why don't you inform us all with you wealth of knowledge!
