Subject: valve cover prob!?! IP: Logged
Message: any one notice that the stock valve cover mounting hardware uses studs and screws. Where as the MP covers only use screws.
The prob being that the studs were perfect for the stock wire looms they are low profile but the wires are held firm. Does anyone know where to get longer studs or has anyone used a aftermarket wire loom that does not look to rice?I know it's a small problem but replies are apreciated
thanks, janesy

Message: go to the hardware store and pick up some stainless allen head bolts, or use studs with nuts... I ditched the stock guides as they wouldn't hold my wires anyway... got some nice bolt together units and everything's kosher now. in black so it dosen't look ricey.
