I have a 2002 4x4 QC, 4.7, auto, 3.92. It has 60,000 miles on it. I drive to work everyday in Phoenix heat and every couple weekends it is off highway w/plenty of dust & dirt. I use 4WD very little other than the occasional snow/ice packed highway in the winter and occassion hill climb. What servics do you guys recommend at this mileage? Just did the spark plugs at 50k and the rear diff at 45k or so. Oil is done at 3500-5k every month or so. Do i need the tranny, front diff and anything else done? How about the little filters like the PCV or whatever else i have. This truck seems very expensive to maintain. I did look at the manual and saw the charts, but i just wanted to know what you guys thought. It seems like the manual wants me to change everything at 30k, my old chevy needed alot less service than that. Thanks for any help.
