Hi all! I have a 93 cc, 4x4, 5.2, auto dak. I also have a '00 durrango 5.9 what do I need to do with the flywheel/torque converter? after talking to a couple of differnt tranny shops Ive basically come to the conclusion that if its not a chevy, they dont know. So, anyone that has done this, please tell me. between slot and d-drives, and 90 degree and offset bolt patterns and mopar balance kits of which no one has been able to give a part number, what do I need?!?

As far as the flexplates you need the 5.9L flexplates.There are two ways to deal with the external balance of a 5.9L. One is to use the weighted torque converter and the reguler flex plate.The other is to use the later weighted flex plate(96?) with the regular torque converter.Can't help ya on the 4 wheeler stuff.Another problem is the computer 95 down is Sbec and 96 and up is the Jtech system.That would mean either changing systems and sensors or some heavy wiring mods.No mixing.Easier swap to the 93 is to use 95 and down 5.9L parts Sbec to Sbec.Electric trans also a problem.Believe it started in 95.Check a Shop Manual
