 Subject: tach help

just bought an after market tach and can't get it to work for some reason. does anyone have any suggestions? i hooked up everything just like the directions said and i get nothing.

i spliced the green tach wire in with the green/red wire going into cylinder 1. did i hook it up in the right spot?

The green wire should hook up to the negative side of the coil. Just check the harness on your coil and splice into the negative wire.

i dont know think there are any tach adapters available to make the 4.7s signal readable for the aftermarket tach. If anyone knows differently, please chime in.
