Message: Last night, my truck, 2K1 4.7L QC 4x4, started idling waaay too high, like 1500-2000, and I got a code of P0122. I cleared the comp, code went away, but still idles high. Help!!

Message: Check for a vacuum leak, like a hose loose. Spray brake cleaner (not carb cleaner, as it may harm paint) around the intake of the engine and if you get a stumble, or an even higher idle temporarily, you have a leak. It could also be an idle valve stuck open.
I don't know what the code is, but I'll bet that it leads to what I mentioned.

Message: I did that already, no luck. I did manage to find out what the code is just now, www.obdii.com it has something to do with the TPS, but what gets me is that why would it clear out, but still idle too high? Thanks for the quick help
