I just installed a FIPK from K&N p/n 1516 same as 2001, I think it slowed my truck down. That is the only mod i have done and now my truck tops out at 100, it used to run 110 tops. anyone else out there experienced the same situation?

I've got the FIPK as well, but I don't top out my truck, so I cannot say anything in that respect. I don't know why it would hurt though, unless it's running too lean up top? The ECU should compensate for it.

I Have a 2003 4.7L auto and I also have done 115mph, and haven't hit the limiter yet. I thought It would have been at 110, but I guess they set it at 120.

I have a 2000 Dak CC with the 4.7, it shuts down at 98 MPH. I have heard it has something to do with the aluminum drive shaft, exceeding 98 MPH can goes over the critical shaft speed for the one peice aluminum drive line.
Everyone with the 110-120 MPH limiters, do you have a 2 peice drive line or the one peice drive line?

IVE HAD MY 2003 RED C/C R/T TO 115 THEN I LET OFF NOT THE TRUCK! I HAD MY OLD 1998 RED C/C 318 UP TO 130 NO BOLOGNA!!!NO MODS OTHER THAN EXHAUST,THAT 318 KICKED ROYAL ASH TOP END...
