hey,i have a 2000 r/t cc 5.9l.the idle has always been a little rough but it seems to have gotten worse over time.My truck only has 42000km on it.I have changed sparkplugs,cleaned the iac motor,performed fuel injection cleaning,cleaned throttle body.nothing has helped.just wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Okay now don't laugh at me but where exactly is this sensor cuz my 98 c/c slt 318 dak it doin the same thing...i've changed plugs wires cap and button and reprogrammed computer...intense performance stage 3 and exhaust...so where is this thing at and what do i have to do with it?

The throttle position sensor is on the side of the tb, on the drivers side. It has an electrical plug and two torx bolts attach it to the tb.

Any number of things can cause a rough idle. Throwing parts at it from suggestions isn't recommended. TPS sensor can be tested. Check the water pump also, and make sure it isn't wobbling. With the engine off, grab the fan and see if there is any play in it.
You may have a vacuum leak on the intake manifold, an injector problem, a mechanial problem, a plug wire shorting out to the body, any number of things.
