I have a magnaflow on my R/T. It sounds good, deep and mellow, not to loud. It gets loud when you get on it but when you shift you can't hear any interior noise at all, that was before I had it dumped. As for burning up, mine has been on for about 8,000mi with no problems. I think magnaflow guarantees it for the lifetime of the truck.

I have a Magnaflow on my 4.7 and really like the way that it sounds, not to loud, and has a nice deep tone.

As for burning up, I haven't had any problem either, and I have had mine for about 12,000 miles.

I have twin MagnaFlows on my 4.7. It sounds like a 1976 F-100 with straight pipes as alex put it.

It sounds OK, until you get on it...

I think a X-pipe in place of the rinky dink H-pipe will cure the problem...

I can't complain now though, those little mufflers picked the truck up in the 1/4 BIG TIME!

I just put a magnaflow in place of the stock muffler on my QC. It sounds pretty good now, and I think it'll be just right when the new wears off. Not too loud, but good and rumbly.

2000 QC 4.7/5sp.
