Message: hey folks! so far I've only gotten small mods to my 97 slt. Flowmaster 40's, K&n intake and Lakewood traction bars. Thanks for all the support and mod ideas and please keep em' coming! Thinking about new throttle body and possible turbo or supercharger in the future! Dakotas rule!

Message: You dont need a new throttle body. From your other post I see that you have a 318, the 5.2 and the 5.9 use the same one, the 5.9 is 42 cubes bigger than the 5.2, so you have some room to go, you could always clean-up and polish yours. Spend a few hours some night surfing and you will be able to find other Dakota owners that have massaged thiers and have pics and instructions. Unless you are going to some form of forced induction, try to resist the temptation to overkill on mods.

Message: Hey Buddy, As far as chips go, you think Mopar is best? I've read about hyperchip and jet but not much about Mopar. Seeings how this is a mopar product I believe it may be best to stay within the family of products, What is your take on this?
