i found out how fast they are... i beat one by 1/2 second in the 1/8th. heheh
its not TOOOO bad though, i usually beat the preluds, RSX's, integra's, ect by atleast 2- 2 1/2 seconds...LMAO

Max boost with the stage III kit from Mopar is 18# but you can only run Turbo Blue at that point.

I raced one last night cruzing around at the cruze spot here in Dallas...well I was definately impressed. He still had the new tags on it too.
He got the jump on me off the line (traction problems for me obvously) but by the time we got to the next light I was starting to inch past his bumper a bit and I usually pull pretty hard, so it was definately a site watching me try to keep up w/ a 4 banger.
I want one!! :)

If you can launch those things, they're quick. Got a customer who bought one, invested $1000 in the motor and runs 12.9s. Down pipe, constant max boost of 15, cat delete, etc.
Too bad no LSD though (yet)

Well, I havent been to the track yet, but I have heard completely stock times that range between 13.7 and 14.2....Living in Memphis, I wont take it to the track in the summer due to the extremely high humidity which of course result in crappy timeslips. I'll wait till temps cool down a bit then take it out there

13s are possible... Mopar Now got one to run a 13.99 @ 105, show room new.
Sport Compact mag got one to dyno at 223 fwhp
Motor Trend pulled off a 14.1 or 14.2 i believe
still amazing for a "215 hp" 4 door grocery getter
according to two different horsepower calculators.. the HP is between 250-300 depending on wether you use the E.T method or Trapspeed

OK, to the guy who said, the SRT4 is not the second faster vehicle Dodge has EVER made. LOL. It's the 2nd fastest vehicle in Dodge's current lineup, yes.
They vary their boost due to conditions which I don't like. Get the MBC and set it permanently at 15psi and just keep usin' premium and you'll be fine, and quick.
Oh, and please don't be like so many others, BREAK THE CAR IN BEOFRE YOU ROMP ALL OVER IT! It kills me to see people get these and go racing it the next day. You especially need to break-in a turbo car. I'd drive easy to 1k, change over to all synthetic oil, drive it another 100 miles, THEN romp all over it. You'll probably be pleased with the performance and also the durability in 50k miles.

Actually, the OBD-II computers will not give you everything the engine is capable of if you go easy on it for the first 1000 miles. I've driven both of my recent new cars ('02 Dakota, '03 Maxima GLE) like I stole them when they were right off the lot, and they both make significantly more power over the same vehicles usual baseline. Is it coincidence? The guys over a Maxima.org do not think it is. Almost every single one of the 2002+ Maximas that were driven hard from brand new make more power and tend to run in the 1/4 faster than their counterparts that broke them in nice and easy. But who the hell really knows what's up with engine management computers these days...they are such PITA's!

Its true what Demon said...I drove my truck like I stole it and it pulls harder than these other 2 guys I know that babied there's all the time...they complained that theirs where turds. Its all in how the computer learns your driving method, and if you teach it that your serious about performance right off the bat the computer is gonna learn that method and stick to it.
