Ive got a few hundred buring a hole in my pocket. What should my next mod be?

Im starting with a '00 QC 4.7 with flowtech exhaust, 3923's, K&N homebrew, IAT adjuster.

My thoughts are:
2/3 drop kit
H/O cams (and intake?)
PCM flash (suggestions? dont wanna have to run 92 octane and need to pass emissions)
75-100 shot NOS
T04B turbo (to sit in the closet till I save more $'s)

HO CAMS with HO intake manifold and 70mm Throttle body thats about 400 dollars, but you wont recognize your 4.7 when you ease on the pedal!

you can get the ho cam kit at www.buymopar.com

i agree go with the HO cams. They will run you a little over $100 a piece. The manifold really helps out above 4000 rpm's. This is also relatively cheap. Throttle bodies are a little expensive, but are worth while. The cams, intake, and throttle body all work well together so you might want to wait to do them all at once to really feel the difference.

2/3 drop kit! you will love the stance and handling, you dont need shocks either. cams and manifold will run you higher in labour if you dont know what your doing, coils and leafs can be added by anyone who can tackle brakes.

The turbo mentioned would be part of a custom design. So the $300 to $400 (if Im lucky)would be the turbo only. Prob be more like $1300 by the time its all done.

I'd invest in some high quality porn sites. This way when your old lady or GF ain't giving it up, you can spank your monkey to some young hotties!

Question... How difficult is it to replace your
own cams?

I'm interested but don't want to get in over my
head...

I havent done any 4.7's yet, but can assure you that overhead cam swaps are pretty easy.

Dirrections Ive read show simple steps to follow. The one thing noted to be carefull of is nt dropping the timing chains down into the block while removing a cam.

You would have to take apart the front of the engine to retreave tham.
