Message: Ey guys i need to replace my tires, I'm running nitto 275/50/R17's right now but I was wondering if I could go any wider? If so what's the widest I can go on the stock rims?

Message: The R/T wheels are 17x9, so the widest tire that should (or can safely be) mounted is a 275-width tire. A 9.5 inch wide wheel can hold a 295-width tire, a 10 inch wheel can hold a 315-width, and so on. Also, make sure to keep the overall diameter within .3 to .5 of an inch of the stock diameter to avoid speedometer/odometer issues.
