I don't think so but I have a pretty well equipped shop and the ability to do just about any re/re I have to after the factory warranty expires.
If you are inept or don't have the time and space, it may be worth it. Our trucks do eat rotors (not covered by any warranty) and ball joints.

The fuel pump is also not covered by the extended warranty. I found that out the hard way the '97 3.9 I used to have. But other than thaty and LIke Spudwrench said the rotors...I think its worth it. Its soem nice peace of mind.

i upgraded mine to 4 year 80,000 km bumper to bumper with all oil changes. it cost me $1000 CND
if you do the math, oil changes are about $600 for the 4 years. so the extra year warranty was $400. shich isnt bad.
its also go the 7 year 115,000 powertrain
