Subject: Engine Studder - Help IP: Logged
Message: I'ge got a 99 318 60k miles and my engine just started making slight studders every 5-10seconds...slight fast dip in rpm. I'm thinking new plugs or bad 02 sensor.....Anyone got any insight?
Thanks,
JJCOLE

Message: Park in a dark place at night and open the hood and see if any sparks are jumping from the wires. other than that fire in a new set of plugs

Message: You might want to check the catalytic converter, too. My truck started doing something along those lines, and gradually became more sluggish before the whole converter melted on the freeway. Thank goodness for extended warranties...
