Subject: Greasing driveshaft

I was reading this post in the dealer recall section: "try and grease your front drive shaft (if you have 4wd). I had this same noise when stopping and starting and then for some reason after I greased the front drive shaft it went away and I have never heard it since. I do know that the ring that holds the grease was about empty before I started, also."

I have a 2002 4.7 QC and I can't find one damn zerk fitting under the truck.

Am I blind?

is this noise kinda like a very very low tone, almost like when ya grind the gears but allot quieter?
