Message: I need to do the Belly Pan gasket on my 99 5.2L and I'm not sure what brand of gasket to go with and what gaskets I will need to do the entire job? Can anyone tell me what the Mopar or Napa #'s are. Any tricks will help me also because I've never changed this before. Do I need the rtv sealer or the spray sealer and do I need the reinforcement plate or does this not matter. Thanks for the reply
Message: Use the Mopar parts, they are better quality. Just go to the dealer and they will give you everything you need. You should get a new belly pan, the bolts for the belly pan, and the gaskets. It is not a bad job, i do them quite often , usually takes me 1.5 hours. My first one took 2.5 hours.
