i idolize your truck. doesn't look to fancy.with the rt rims,v8, and no chrome, it makes it look so bad. i have a electric blue single cab dakota with a v6 second gen. i want to do the exact same things that you have done. yours is the first that i have dreamed of. i just wonder what you have done to the motor. is it a 318 or a 360. how much power do you have. im 16 and am wondering the range in which you spent on the motor and rims. i'm going to get a job soon so i can save up and have fun!!

Are they stock r/t rims and tires on your truck? If so, do you have any problems with rubbing? I have been trying to find what the backspacing has to be to fit 255/55/17 on the front without any luck.

to fit the R/t rims on mine i had to do a little grinding. i run 245/45 on the front with 275/40 on the back. the tires don't rub but the rims rub the upper control arm at the top and you'll have to grind down the spindle nut, and beat the hell out of thr dust cap for the center caps to fit. Hey chris i have a 318, it's stock right now. the motor blew the night after i put the new tranny in it so i didn't have the money for the cam. Current mods on the V8 are, home ported TB, cold air intake, 100 shot nitrous, ASP underdrive crank pulley, 180 t'stat, MSD blaster coil, MSD wires, Headers, Mopar Performance Computer, 4.10 gears, posi, 2300 stall shift kit, mopar performance clutchs in tranny. and i think that's about it. on the nitrous it should run some low 14's maby a high 13. on motor it's high 14's low 15's. a cam and intake are being added in a few months. e-mail me at sparkplugracing@yahoo.com
