Message: Hey guys, i recently put on a kenne bell on my 00 4.7 auto dak. My problem is I'm pulling an engine code on the MAP sensor. I had it replaced and it pulled a code in 3 days. I originally had no problems for about a month before the first code. I'm hoping i got a bad sensor and a new one will solve my problem, but just in case has anyone had this problem??? Any suggestions as to what i should look for in the installation maybe?? The MAP sensor was relocated to the blowoff block and it looks like it was installed correctly. Does anoter sensor send info to the MAP for the Map to do its job (Mass airflow maybe)??? Confused and pissed.....

Message: Have you tryed calling Ken Bell to see what they
say? I'm sorry I can't help you, but maybe you can help me. I'm getting ready to buy the same s/c. Been save'n for along time. I have a 2000
4.7 also. mine is a 4x4 and C-C. How do you like
your s/c? How long have you had it? Did you see the gains they claim? It sounds like you put it in yourself, was it very hard to install? How long did it take you to put it in? Hope your problem is minor and you can get it fixed easy!!!

Message: I did not install it myself but if you know your stuff at all i would try it. I saw the directions after I got it installed and they were friggin amazing, step by step, very detailed.
The gains were bang on with waht they claimed. THe problem i'm having is a little weird but I'll get it figured out. I would still recommend it. The guy at the shop took two days but i think if ya had a good weekend you could get it done. You may want to have someone areound taht is good with wiring other than that it looks simple!!!

Message: Man...I hate electrical problems..
Just putting some brain farts together, for you to ponder, and others to help out on...
Mass Air Flow, not calibrated correctly
Bypass/BOV not operating correctly
Short in the wiring, if it is pulling codes, there's a chance something is loose in there. You said it seems to fix itself, and then run like poo again. Just check all the wires at splice points. Solder the connections, if it wasn't done by your mechanic.
I hope you find a quick easy solution. Good Luck.

Message: Those are the places I'm looking at. I know the wiring is good (already checked), all the vacum hoses are right. THe one I'm wondering about is the MAF. Dodge does not run one normally stock. I think it may be an issue with the MAP and the MAF signals together?? Usually its one or the other. The pre87 mustangs had MAP and they were messed for doing any after market such as cams. I don't know..... the thing is running good right now so we'll see. I'm just going to keep in touch with the guys at Kenne Bell so they can figure it out and give me some suggestions as to where to look.
