Well, I never had another truck beat me, but the other day I pulled up to the stop sign, and saw a Harley Davidson Ford right next to me with no one in front of us. Well, We took off a little faster than normal, and then we both nailed it. I was right beside him, and then he just started pullin away. We got up on the highway (we were racing to the on ramp), and I got next to him and he gave me a thumbs up for the excitement I guess. By then we was going about 65, and he took off again, and I did the same. I was just about to the speed limiter at 98mph, and I remembered someone posted something about turning the key one click, and the speedometer shuts off and bypasses the speed limiter, so I tried it, and when I let off the gas I turned the key back to the right position and the speed-o went to about 120. It was a good race, but unfortunately the ford beat me, but keep in mind that my dakota is all stock except for a flowmaster exhaust. If I had a few mods, I think I could take him.

The HD's are quite stout dude...No shame.
I raced my buddy in his 03 HD. I got him good the first time.
He ran 14.6's from the factory.
About a month later, we raced again though, and the tables turned. He's now pushing 12psi on the blower, and running a custom Diablo chip, exhaust, and K&N ram air setup. He now runs 13.30's. Not bad at all for a big azz truck, with a few bolt-ons.

It already comes with 6psi...So the pullies (upper & lower/Eaton Roots) upped it 6 more psi...
It's the same supercharged motor as the Lightning, with a little less boost.(6psi vs 8psi)
So when I said it ran 14.6 from the factory, I was reffering to the STOCK blower sitting on the 5.4, pushing 6psi.
Lacent, still smell fishy?
