Subject: Draining radiator fluid HELP IP: Logged
Message: How do i drain the radiator fluid? I tried the hose and twist nob at the bottom of the radiator and nothing happened.....any ideas?

Message: there is a drain plug on the back of the water neck where the termostat is located 3/8 allen i believe its that way on my 2002

Message: Got it, Thanks. But the thermostat is located at the bottom of the motor on mine, just above the skid plate.

Message: I had the same thing happen with the knob. Was very puzzled, then figured out it turned another 1/4 turn! Just dont break it cause of me ok.
azdak means there is a drain plug on your thermostat housing "at the bottom of the motor just above skid plate". I think thats what he means, I didnt notice it on mine, but will look.

Message: thats the one it drains everything out and it will go in a bucket instead of running all over the front valance
