ok i have me a 1994 5.2 dak, my question is are the gears suppose 2 sound like there meshing together (manual tranny)not the whine but click together. also there seemes to be alot of play in the tranny between coasting and when i step on the gas, sound like there slammin together in there? thanks

Well the drive train lash you are feeling when you coat and then get back on the gas is usualy in the rear end or a u-joint that is failing. The question about syncro mesh is probably an indicaton that you need to service the gear lube. I do not know what you trany takes some take gear lube, some take motor oil and some use trany fluid. You might also make sure that your clutch is disengauged fully.
