 Subject: Another Death Flash ?

Im kinda new here and ive been trying to get some information on the death flash from your archives without any luck. Anyways I have a 99 R/T and last summer the engine had a rod knock in it so the whole motor was replaced under warranty. To me though it still doesnt feel the same as before. Does anyone think they would have given the truck a death flash for that reason? There never has been any pinging either.Thanks in advance. Steve
