and install the HO cams!

sorry seems some people say they won't do anything, some say some but need pcm others say 20 hp for 200$ and 4 hours of work. i want to wake up the engine a little but i'm worried about my 5yr 100k mile warranty. i just want to add HO cams and intake. will that be a problem

i bought the HO cams and intake and had my dealer install them. The total cost was $700. I have no other mods done to my truck. Its a 03 4x4 with the 3.55 rear end. It pulls better through the RPM's. There is more low end torque at around 2000 RPM and its easier to accelerate on the highway withough the auto tranny dropping out of over drive. There is definetly a noticable difference.

All gains and still under warranty, how can you lose? Who said they don't work? They don't have them in or, are jealous because they can't afford them. Your compter will be find, plus unless it is a 2000, there isn't much for the 2001+ in the pcm department.

black03dakota....not to jump off the topic, but do you have the open diff, if so, do you lose traction as easily as i do? i got the 4.7 with headers, jet ship stage II, airraid intake, traction bars, the 3.55's 5spd, and i get NO traction!!
