Subject: anthing else needed to change?

I have a 02 Dakota R/T, and I have a chance to purchase a supercharger that comes with injectors and an msd ignition. I was wondering if there is anything else needed to change on the engine to keep the truck a daily drive with the charger on it?

Depending on which brand sc you’re looking at, make sure your getting an auxiliary fuel pump for it along with a fuel management unit (FMU). Also check to see if that ignition has a boost retard, you'll need it. Ask for the serial number on the blower and call it in to the manufactures service dept. to double check it hasn't been sent back for major repair/rebuild etc.

I'm not sure what your paying and since your not a member this is just a heads up, don't pay over 1800-2500 for the blower, ignition, injectors, fmu, aux. pump ... setups like this go for 1800-2100 depending on brand around here pretty often bro. Some of these guys on this board are wicked when it comes to this stuff (not including me heh) so tell us what kind of blower it is and we'll give you a basic profile of what you'll need along with what your paying for it.

I got a used powerdyne blower with msd6-btm, aux. pump, fmu, double a-pillar gauge pod, a/f gauge, boost gauge, all wires and everything was in great shape for 2100. Actually the guy (joe) I got it from only wanted 1800 but I wanted it asap so I offered him 200 more bucks to speed it up heh, I had it in my hands 3 days later.
