Do you have to pull the AC compressor to change the T-Stat on a 99 5.2 5 speed Dak? It looks like I could get a socket with extension down at the bolts, I just dont know if the top spout will come up and out of there.

You don't have to pull the AC compressor. You can just use a socket with an extension. You will have to twist the housing a little bit but it will come out without taking off the AC. I just did it on my 99 r/t.

It's possible. You don't need to pull the compressor. You may need a magnet or put some gum inside the socket tip to pull out the bolts.
