Yo, maing! Im your most recent fan of the turbo setup. Infact youve motivated me to try the same.
Im pretty familiar with turbos and getting things setup, however Im not sure about the best way to set up exhaust on the 4.7.
Ill be honest, money is limited so major manifold fabricating is an ender for me.
Ive looked at areas under the engine bay (riders side) for room to mount the turbo. Seems as if intake fab would be cheaper then what a muffler shop will want to plumb up to the top, twice. A skid plate would be necessary for protection of course.
Any chance you could post some more detailed photos of how you plumbed your pipes? As well as oil supply? The return would be simple enough.
One last thing, I had an '86 SVO Mustang with a turbo 2.5. Its intercooler was small but mounted up top to breath through the hood. From the picture of your setup, it just might fit under your hood. May need a gay looking scoop though. Check into it if you like.
