 Subject: Something hanging near Rear axle?

Last night i was doin some mudding, after i was done i heard something dragging. When i arrived home, i looked underneath. I noticed a rubber black hose with a white valve looking thingy on the end of it. Im thinking its some sort of breather. The rubber hose T's into the Brake plumbing. Anybody know what this hose is? I tiewrapped it up under the bed of the truck.
