Subject: R/T Power IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 R/T w/ K&N FIPK, Mopar Headers, MBRP exhaust, and a newly installed M1 intake. To be honest i can tell no power difference at all even at higher RPM's. Is this somthing my computer needs to adjust to before i will really feel the gains. I have already re-set my PCM. I also have a F&B 52mm on the way........will i be able to tell then..cuz ill be pretty pissed if i just dropped all that money and see no noticeble gains. Any feedback would be appreciated

Message: I have the exact same year R/T with the exact same mods pretty much, I do have the 52mm F&B on and I also have the Mopar PCM and to be honest I haven't felt any noticable gain in my truck either, but I did run my truck last year with all the mods and I am going this week to the track to see what I run. The way I look at it is if I didn't knock off at least a second I'm dumping the truck. So my advise is just keep getting numbers on your truck as you do mods so you know when your improving and by how much...

Message: Jim: lemme know what you run........do you have a reg. cab or club cab? I definately would not want to get rid of my truck because i love it but maybe a s/c is the only way to go......or a stroker

Message: If you throw in a new cam and do some head work your times will greatly improve. You have given it the tools to let the air in and to let it all out but the stock cam and heads are restricting it greatly.A cam change is quite easy and the heads really only need to be cleaned up a bit at a perf shop and some 1.7's and then you'll feel it turn on.Don't give up on it yet! Good luck.

Message: I didn't notice much of a seat of the pants difference either but gained 3/10's and 3mph in the 1/8 over the stock keg.
