Yep, I've seen a few before... But Turbo Guy... maybe $1200 is a little cheap? I havn't seen the truck or anything, but for a 95, I'd expect to pay up near the $2000 mark.

Turns out the guy wants $6k (suprised emoticon here)
I kinda laughed. Told him if he could get $6k for it...GOOD LUCK! I couldnt give my R/T away without someone trying to haggle another dollar off the asking price...hehe.
Has anyone traded one in recently? Just like to know what kind of trade in a dealer gave. $2k was my highest offer. Still with 120k and regular cab...not the best selling points for a truck.

FWIW Mark 3 had a HUGE freaking facility in Ocala, FL. The stupid son of the Owner (Roy Thagard Boyd , Jr.) got involved in drugs and the gov't seized the whole operation. They had 10s of millions of dollars worth of inventory too. Brand new vans, trucks, etc ...just sitting in fields waiting to be "customized". They employed 750+ people there.

Hey 91Freak, did you buy from a dealer or what?
My 00 R/T books at $19k. That doesnt even include the additional Mopar mods I did.
I put it up for sale at very reasonable $16k. I had folks calling me telling me they had $12k cash. I told them they were $4k short...lol.

Yours have a V8 318? 5sp?

Turboguy, a 5-speed 318 Regular Cab Gen II truck will eat R/T's all day long. Gen II trucks weigh so much less, it's a natural performance advantage. That '95 probably weighs 3400 lbs, max. A typical regular cab R/T is going to be 3900 lbs, conservatively. Issues of styling aside, if you want to build for performance, a Gen II truck is the way to go, IMHO. 5 speed, 318 Gen II's were only available from 94-96. They are pretty rare.

When I was looking for my '95, it took me a month to find one within 300 miles of where I live! They hold their value pretty well.

b1llyw, thanks for the info. I realized they were kinda rare, but the mileage is putting me off.
I can understand about the added advantage, but if I was looking to race... I wouldnt even consider the Daks. (any Gen)
I just dont think I wanna tie up $6k in a used regular cab truck.

IMHO, 6K on the truck is high. I'd start at 4K if it the truck were a little beat, and maybe go higher for options and good condition.

I sold my 95 reg cab 318 auto with 130,000 on it for $3500. It ran 14.7 all day at the 1/4 and looked SWEET, PERFECT body etc.
Some guy in North St.Louis ended up with it, she's still running strong :-)

most of the parts i didnt have to change but i did just because i got bored and needed something to do . the only things i needed to do was replace the original radiator because the tops are made of plastic so they crack and leak. which mine was leaking. and the tires which were bald as hell. the battery went dead about three months after i bought it. it was in the middle of Jan. when it went. the others things i could of not done at all except the starter it went out last month. all in all its a fun truck with true dual exhaust its quick it will make people stop laughing at it when you beat them
