Subject: P295/45R18's on my Dakota?? IP: Logged
Message: Hi...This is my first time on this board and I have to thank all of you for the helpful info posted here. I have a 2000 dakota club cab. I have 18 X 9 wheels right now and P255/55R18 Toyo Proxes right now. I need new treads and want wider tires. Has anyone tried running a P295/45R18? They are 1.2 inches wider than what I am running right now. Just curious if they will rub. I have no problems with rubbing right now. I am also looking for a set of wheel flares(any color) if anyone has any availible. I am also curious about how comparable the 4.7 is to the R/T. I was going to buy the R/T, but was told the 4.7 was just as quick. I have the 4.7 with 3.92 rear end, cold air intake, 3" cat back mandrel bend exhaust, and had my computer reprogrammed. My truck seems fast at times, but I have no idea how fast it is. Anyone with similar mods have any idea on 0-60 and 1/4 mile times?? Thanks in advance for you responses.
