Hey I just bought a 2003 quad cab w/4.7 and wanted to install a FIPK. The problem is I cant find someone that sells a kit for the 2003. Does anyone know who or where I could buy one? Also any other ideas (cheap'ER' if poss) to add a little HP?

K&N does not make a FIPK for the 4.7 yet, I went with the Airaid cold air intake, Neat product looks great.

Just make your own like I did. About 50 bucks with a K&N. Just search this site for "homebrew" designs. Theres a few different ways to do it.

Sorry but I have to correct something about the FIPK Intake kit from K & N for the 4.7 V8. They DO make the kit for the 4.7 V8 but they only passed it to 2001's so it doesn't void ur warrenty. But I just intalled the K & N FIPK intake kit for my 4.7 two days ago! And I have a 2002, and my dealership has no problem at all with me having it intalled.
Just wanted to let you know they DO make a K & N FIPK intake kit for the 4.7 V8.

Yeah, so far I'm very happy with it. list price was 30K but with all the rebates (and my brother works for chystler). I got it for 20K.

Yeah you get can get the FIPK kit for 2001 4.7. I got it for my 2002 dak and the 2003s are no different but i didn't put the heatshield on because it blocks to much incoming air.
