Message: On the 98 5.2L 4x4 there is no fuel filter - there is a screen on the pickup tube in the fuel tank - Maybe the same on the 95.

Message: The fuel filter/regulator are one unit and it's in the tank. So is your fuel pump.

Message: '92 and '93 trucks have a different fuel system with a return setup. Much better actually.

Message: I asked the local dealer's service manager about replacing the in-tank fuel filters and he told me that he hasn't replaced one in 8 years. Either he's exaggerating or they just dont get that dirty. I'll let you guys decide!

Message: There is no inline filter. The whole pump assembly is in the tank.I also have a '95 dak 5.2 Ihad to replace mine. Ifound it was easier to take the bed off rather than drop the thank.Took about an hour an a half to replace.Tank bolts are a pain in the ass. After replaced started much better.
