I think you'll need something to pry the tensioner back and you'll have to pull the clutch+fan off , that can be done with a big hammer and a punch - the threads are opposite.. That's how you do it on the 4.7 anyhow.. You may not have to pull the fan off though..

On the 5.2L you just need to move the belt tensioner out of the way, take off the old belt. Thread the new belt, hold the tensioner out of the way, put the new belt over (or under) release and you are done - About 10 minutes. You can use a wrench on the tensioner pulley bolt to move the tensioner. As for the belt, I went to Advanced Auto Parts and got belt. Believe it was a Gates brand.

Hammer and a punch on a 4.7, I wasn't aware of any of that.

I agree about taking the belt clutch/fan off, it's NOT reverse thread though! Take it off, and LEAVE it off!

The procedure for the 5.9 will be the same as the one for the 5.2, they have basically all the same parts.
