Has anyone here installed the Amsoil Bmk15 Dual oil filter set-up on their 00 4.7L Dakota? Does anyone have pictures of where they mounted it? I want to install this set-up but, there isn't much space in the engine compartment to mount it. I'm concerned about mounting the dual set-up high in the engine compartment beacuse of the increase in oil pressure cause by pumping the oil uphill.
I have another option which is the Amsoil Bmk 11 bypass only filter set-up. This type of set-up calls for teeing off of the oil sending unit. My only problem is I don't have a shop manual and I don't know where the oil sending unit is.
Anyone who has added one of these kits or knows of someone who has, please let me know. Pictures would be most appreciated.

I was planning on doing that same thing. I put a dual filter set up on a ford f250 and it worked great. If you find any thing out about doing it on your dakota lemme know....

i asked the same thing and didnt get answer. did search and nobody stated exactly how they mounted their by-pass system. would be nice to know. sandman spoke of an interesting single filter thats also a by-pass filter made by trasko. any feedback on those would be good too.
