I have an 02 qc 4x4 with an auto tranny 3.92 rear and the 4.7. Here is the scenario. I pulled out of a stop sign in 1, at around 5500 rpm I shifted into second, Again at around 5500 rpm I shifted into drive. When the tach got upto about 3500 and the mph was around 75 or so there was an extreme hesitation for a few seconds then the engine started pulling again but I dont think as well as it had. IF I get back to a more normal speed or stop and get on it again it runs normal. I have experienced it twice now and was just curious if anyone else has had this problem? BTW I only have 4800 miles on the engine. It also doesn't like to kick down unless you get on it pretty heavy. But I dont think thats out of sorts.
