Not that great from almost everyone i've heard from. Go to 360airintakez.com and get one of theirs. You will have much better results. Even if you have to spend a little extra money its best to spend it on something you will be more than satisfied with.

I have one on my 4.7L and its not bad. I can't compare it to other like NS intake, 360, or the cheap ones on eBay. My experience with it is quicker throttle response, has nice rumble when getting on it, took 5 mins to install, and about 1-2 mpg better. As for the 10 HP more....I couldn't tell you what 10 more horses would feel like.

I picked up a used one off eBay for $67 and installed it today in about 5 minutes. As mentioned, you get a nice rumble sound when you press on it. I've had the drop in K&N and I made a home brew intake using PVC with a huge 9" cone filter. Using the bottom of the stock box with the Airaid box I feel like I'm getting the best of both set ups. Lots of "cold air" while isolating the filter from hot air coming off the engine and moisture while driving in the rain. I am also impressed with the quality of the materials used for the tube, box and rubber.

I'll snap a few pics and send post them over the weekend.

the airaid intake for the 4.7 isnt worth the $150, when the engine is cold it works decent, but since its open, when the engine heats up all it does is suck in hot air and it seems to slow my truck down, i feel i wasted 150 dollars on the intake
