 Subject: how to change the spark plug wires?

Ok So i have never replaced spark plugs or wires but have seen it done. I am worried i will put the wrong wire on the wrong wire, how can i get the right wire on the right plug?

Exactly, jsut match them up to the closest length one in the box. This way you cannot goof it. Then when it is all said and done you can route them very neatly....

firing order 1 8 4 3 6 5 7 2. # 1 is marked on cap and go clockwise in the order
The plugs are 1 3 5 7 drivers side of engine from frt. to back and 2 4 6 8 pass. side from frt. to back.. should help you.

man, i was in the same boat as you. I did the plugs earlier, no biggy. But i was wantin to change the cap/rotor/ and wires just recently, I was goin to have my local mechanic do it, but just for labor he wanted $45. I had the stuff to do it with. just needed it put on. So i was worried too that i would mess up. but with my haynes manual by my side, it was a breeze. dont worry bout it man, just 'member the firing order, and the cylinders should be numbered near the injectors, they were on mine ne way.

if your worried take a few pic's from each side and one of the cap... that way if you do screw it up you have a good idea of where they go... or you can just go to speedtweaks and print out that TSB plug wire diagram... it's pretty simple just take your time..

As mentioned, the cyclinder #'s are usually marked near the injectors. Take a look at intake manifold, the firing order for my '99 318 was cast right into it....
