Message: there never has been or ever will be built a 4x4 dakota r/t.the dakota r/t is only available in a 2 wd with an automatic and 3.92 gears 2 inches lower than a regular 2wd pick up with sway bars and suspension mods and 17 inch wheels.as i curently own one and am very happy with it.and have also been restoreing classic mopar muscel cars for over 20 years......
Message: Not an expert,,but I thought back a few years ago you could purchase a Dak w/a 360 motor, with it not being an RT,,,,BUT it had to be a 4x4. That's the ONLY way you could get a 360 outside the 4x4 package in a Dakota. I was considering get one back in '98/'99.
